  • Term: approximately 2 months — 4 bi-weekly instalments
  • Prepayment: permitted at any time, with no penalty or fee

Electronic debit fees: $0. No other fees are charged.
⚠ WARNING — This is high-cost credit (APR of 32% or higher). High-cost credit can be very expensive. Consider all your options before applying, including credit counselling services and lower-rate loans from financial institutions.

4. Payments and Pre-Authorized Debits

By accepting a loan, you authorize Credit2Go to make pre-authorized debits (PAD) from the bank account you have provided, on dates agreed in the contract. You commit to:
  • Maintain sufficient funds to honor payments
  • Inform us immediately of any change of bank account
  • Pay the missed payment fee of $25 if a payment is refused for non-sufficient funds — this fee is automatically reversed if the payment is cured within 48 business hours

5. Default and Remedies

In case of default, Credit2Go reserves the right to:
  • Charge the missed payment fees set out in the contract, up to the maximum permitted by the law of your province
  • Report the default to credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion)
  • Initiate collection procedures
  • Demand full repayment of the balance
  • Commence legal action to recover the debt
Credit2Go charges no late fees, penalty interest, or collection charges beyond what applicable law permits.

6. Cancellation Right

You have a cancellation period, at no cost, following receipt of your loan agreement. The length of this period is set by the law of your province of residence. The period that applies to your file, along with the steps to cancel, are stated in your loan agreement. If you cancel within that period, you repay the principal received without interest or fees.
